BASEBALL
The varsity baseball team entered the 1971 season as
defending West Shore champs with a nucleus of returning letterman
and a new coach. However, pitching dominated the league, while the
Wildcats were plagued with defensive miscues and lack of offensive
power and thus fell to a 4-8 record. Victories over the tough East
Pennsboro and C.V. clubs were highlights of a trying season.
