1969 Baseball Team Loses CAC Championship

Within a league of stiff competition, for the first time in three years, the Wildcats, under the firm coaching of Mr. Sassaman, relinquished the CAC championship this year.

The main strength of the team was in the pitching of Greg Diehl and Rick Tarell and in the outfielding of Randy Cockley, Steve Fish, and Bob Rechel.

The team suffered from the loss of nine lettermen due to last year’s graduation, but as the year progressed the inexperienced members strove to work as a unit.
