Mechanicsburg High School’s
crack baseball nine of 1931 brought its way to the runner up position in the
West Shore Scholastic League being nosed out only by Enola.
The unusual team work of the squad, coupled with the baseball genius of
Coach Mercer, were evidenced by the strong showing of the Club, amid such ardent
